Kyky's Puppies

Am post dating this as have been so busy have just not had time to announce Kyky's new pups, and if I hurry up and post a few notes I might eventually catch up with myself real time! Kyky took quite a long while to get started, stage 1 labour taking well over 24 hours! But once the contractions started she popped them out in record time, 2 hours from start to finish.


We have the 4 pups that "Sam the Scan" forecast, two girls born first then two boys!

first born girl - looks to be a tricolour and has white mark in chest and white tips to each foot, weighed in at 400g.




The second born pup - another bitch was the smallest of the four, at 300g. The jury is out on her colouring when wet she was tri colour - but have a hint she maybe wolf sable. There was only a few minutes gap between these two girls, but Kyky coped well and was very natural at cutting the cords and cleaning away the bags etc.



We then had a 20 minute breather before the next pup arrived, he looks to be a wolf sable like his mum and weighed in at 375g.






Then a 25 minute gap to the last pup a tricolour dog who weighed 380g.
