Week Three Update

Well the puppies have been getting used to a variety of food as part of the weaning process, enjoying Royal Canine puppy mousse, Scrambled eggs, Ambrosia Creamed Rice and now soaked Royal Canin Puppy Food.  These all on top of the undivided attention of their doting mum, Kaisa, who is still very much with the puppies, attending to their every need.  The puppies are now very aware of their surroundings and play with each other and experiment with their new toys, though its still amusing that they fall over a lot!  As they get more puppy like and less like guinea pigs the pictures are really showing them off.

Dog Pup No 1

Dog Puppy 1 now at 1950g, markings are really coming through and you can see how the hair is getting longer so it appears curly around neck.  

Dog Pup No 2

Dog Puppy 2  is similar to the bitch in both markings and weight, coming in this week at 1700g.  At the moment he does not quite have his full nose pigmentation - but it is coming.

Dog Pup No  3

Dog Puppy 3 is still very similar in colouring to the first born, but he is lighter, weighing in at 1720g and his hind feet boast most two full white toes on one foot whereas Pup 1 has only the tiniest white tipping.  

Puppy Bitch

The girl is getting prettier and prettier, she weighs 1700g, see her little white bib and how much her markings have developed.

Dog Pup No 4

The last born is taking every advantage of the extra softened food that is being dished up - weighing in at a whopping 2090g you can see his wavy coat developing too.
