Four Week Puppy Update

Dog Puppy 1

The pups are now getting very active with very waggy tails, and playing with the wide range of toys - though an empty plastic milk bottle and rope toy from one of their new families are the favourites I think.  The four week weights show these are are certainly chunky pups - Puppy dog 1 now is a hefty 2660g, with chunky legs.  

Puppy dog 2 is the smallest (2120g) but by no means small compared to other litters bred, he is the pup who had most markings when born, though others are fast catching him up in the glamour stakes.

Puppy dog 3 is the one who is first to try and escape, very keen to interact, a real friendly chap, he is weighing in at 2340g.   Pups 1,3,5 are very similarly marked so hard to tell apart and funnily the smaller dog and the bitch are similar in markings and size.

The pretty little girl - is definitely all girl, she weighed in at 2190g and already has many fans!  I love her little white bib!

Then we have our little stowaway - well given he is heaviest of  the five he could hardly go un-noticed now!  Puppy dog 4 is now 2670g.  Just noticeable feature from that of the boys 1 & 3 is the little white tip at the end of his tail, shown off in this picture.
